LOS ANGELES, April 25 — According to Deadline.com, Millennium Films and the creator of "The Expendables," Sylvester Stallone, have chosen Patrick Hughes to direct the third installment of the action saga.

"The Expendables 3" will be Patrick Hughes's second movie. "Red Hill," the first movie by the director, who is well-known in the advertising field, received good reviews although it was released direct-to-video in some countries.

Hughes will be taking over from Stallone, who directed the first episode of the franchise, and Simon West, who led the second.

Filming on the third "Expendables" will start in August with a cast that includes the former "Rocky" actor Stallone, who is currently working on the screenplay, as well as Bruce Willis, Jet Li and Jason Statham. – AFP-Relaxnews
