| OpenTable selects 100 best US restaurants for a scenic view Posted: 19 Aug 2013 05:11 PM PDT The word 'California' immediately conjures up images of Hollywood, the Golden Gate Bridge, Santa Monica and famous vineyards. And with all those iconic sites, it's perhaps no surprise that the state has the larget number of restaurants with a prime view of the nation. Specialized restaurant booking site OpenTable revealed its list of the 100 winners of its Diner's Choice Awards for Best Scenic View. Washington comes in second with seven restaurants, before Maryland, Nevada and New York which count six restaurants each. The survey is based on 5 million restaurant reviews submitted by OpenTable diners from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013. 15,000 restaurants were taken into account in 50 states and the District of Columbia. A look at four of the California entries, from Malibu to San Francisco. Bertrand at Mister A's Located at the top of a San Diego skyscraper, the restaurant offers a great view of the bay, the Balboa Park and the famous San Diego zoo.
